Terms of Use

Veego OÜ (hereinafter the "Portal Operator"), registry code 16858914, located at Harju County, Tallinn, Kesklinna District, Kentmanni St. 6-31, 10116, Republic of Estonia, operates the platform https://veego.ee (hereinafter the "Platform"). The Portal Operator provides the Platform for publishing advertisements concerning the sale, purchase, and rental of new and used vehicles and other related items.

1. General Provisions
   1. A "User" is any natural or legal person who uses the Platform, either by creating a user account or by using the Platform without creating an account.
   2. These Terms of Use apply to all Users of the Platform. Acceptance of these Terms is a prerequisite for using the Platform. By accepting these Terms of Use, a binding agreement is formed between the Portal Operator and the User.
2. Use of the Platform
   1. The Portal Operator allows Users to browse published advertisements and to publish, for a fee, advertisements for the sale, purchase, and rental of vehicles.
   2. Users can publish both private (individual) and business ads, in accordance with the rules and price list established by the Portal Operator.
   3. When placing an advertisement, the User is obliged to provide accurate and truthful information about the item being sold.
   4. The Portal Operator does not participate in transactions between Users beyond providing the Platform for the posting of ads, nor is the Portal Operator responsible for advertisements posted by Users. Transactions take place directly between Users.
3. Content of Advertisements
   1. All data presented in an advertisement must be accurate and truthful. The User bears responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.
   2. Without obligation to provide a reason, the Portal Operator reserves the right to remove or modify advertisements if there is any doubt about their accuracy, legality, copyright compliance, or conformity with good practice.
4. User Obligations and Rights
   1. The User confirms that they have the right to sell or rent out the items offered in the advertisement.
   2. The User may not use the Platform for illegal purposes.
   3. The User is responsible for the security of their user account and is obliged to keep their login details confidential.
   4. Veego.ee may not be used to engage in illegal conduct. The content of the Portal must not conflict with the Terms of Use, good practices, or legal acts.
   5. The User is prohibited from using copyrighted material belonging to another person without the permission of the owner or the copyright holder.
   6. Not permitted on the Portal:
      1. Pornographic or violent content
      2. Obscene or vulgar content
      3. Content that violates moral norms or ethical standards
5. Disclaimer
   1. The Portal Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Platform.
   2. The Portal Operator is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information presented in advertisements.
   3. The Portal Operator may discontinue the operation of the Platform at any time and impose sanctions by closing a User’s account(s) if the Portal Operator has fulfilled the services paid for by the User.
6. Contractual Relationships
   1. These Terms of Use constitute an agreement between the User and the Portal Operator governing the use of the Platform.
7. Amendments to the Terms of Use
   1. The Portal Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use and the price list at any time, notifying account holders at least 30 days in advance. If a registered User continues to use the Platform after the new Terms of Use and/or price list go into effect, it is considered acceptance of the updated terms and/or price list by the User.
8. Payment of Fees
   1. The User is obliged to pay the Portal Operator’s fees for paid services according to the price list published on the Platform.
   2. The User agrees that the Portal Operator does not refund the service fee if the User decides to discontinue using the service before its expiration date or after the Portal Operator has commenced providing the service.
   3. Any eWallet and credit the Portal Operator provides the User does not constitute a financial service but is rather a form of prepayment by the User for Platform services or a discount offered by the Portal Operator. The prepayment made by the User can only be used to pay for services on the Platform. The Platform credit (prepayment) is non-transferable, cannot be encumbered, and does not create any obligations for the Portal Operator (i.e., the User cannot demand that a discount provided by the Platform be transferred to their bank account). If the Portal Operator suspects that the User is not using the eWallet appropriately, the Portal Operator may restrict the User’s access to the eWallet or delete the User’s account.
9. Copyright
   1. Under the Copyright Act, the User grants the Portal Operator free economic rights (including, but not limited to, the rights to reproduce, distribute, translate, modify, create collections and databases from, publicly display, and make publicly accessible the content in any form and by any means, without geographic limitation and valid until the expiry of the copyright term, without restrictions to third parties) to any content (work) that the User uploads. These rights are transferred immediately to the Portal Operator once the work is uploaded to the Portal Operator’s Platform. The User grants the Portal Operator a license to exercise non-transferable personal (moral) rights to the uploaded content within the same scope and for the same period as the economic copyright. The User retains the right to exercise economic and non-economic (moral) rights in the uploaded content (including, but not limited to, using the uploaded content on other sales platforms) for the duration, scope, and extent indicated above.
   2. The Portal Operator owns all related copyrights and rights stemming from copyright, including database creator rights, for the Portal Operator and related databases. This includes the rights to the content belonging to the Portal Operator, including software, news, messages, texts, as well as visual, musical, and other forms of design.
10. Final Provisions
    1. The Portal Operator has the right to close the User’s account or restrict its use and/or block access to the Platform from the User’s IP address if the Portal Operator suspects the User’s activity may be illegal or if the User violates these Terms of Use or disrupts the operation of the Platform or other Users.
    2. The Portal Operator has the right to delete a user account if the user has not used the account for more than two (2) years.
    3. A notice sent by the Portal Operator to a registered User is considered received once the Portal Operator sends it via the user account or by email, and three (3) business days have passed since it was sent.
    4. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be resolved through negotiations. If no agreement is reached, the disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Estonia in Harju County Court. A private individual has the right to contact the court of their place of residence or the Consumer Disputes Committee or submit a complaint electronically through the ODR environment at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

User Obligations and Liability Regarding Advertisements

Veego OÜ (hereinafter "Veego") operates the auto sales portal https://veego.ee. It is important to note that Veego itself is not the seller of any product or service offered in the advertisements. Each User is responsible for ensuring that the goods they sell are lawful and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Below are recommendations for ensuring the legality of the goods:

1. Right of Ownership

   Make sure you are the owner of the goods or have the right to sell them. If you are not the owner, check that you have the right to publish a sale advertisement and transfer ownership to the buyer.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

   If you are selling goods protected by intellectual property rights (such as trademarks or copyrighted material), ensure that you have all necessary permissions and licenses. Information regarding intellectual property rights can be found on the Estonian Patent Office website (https://www.epa.ee/).
